HISTORY
Ruff Ruff! Hi, I'm Sasha, an ex-rescue dog, part-shepherd and part-hound. My mother Janice thinks I'm half Rottweiler because of my large backside and I admit it's debatable. My owners, Janice and Lauren Aquilina, a mother-daughter act, are the Co-Founders of Empowered Pets, a concept that started while experimenting with the healing powers of crystals; it was when Lauren, a jewelry designer, fashioned a quartz crystal bracelet for Janice, while setting the intention that it would alleviate her back pain. After miraculous results, it was then that they decided to try it on me since I too was suffering from aches and pains (chasing fire trucks takes a toll). To their astonishment, I exhibited a physical resurgence in energy and overall health, particularly evident when fetching my Frisbee for extended periods in the park.
After countless experiments with pets of friends and family, they were all amazed with such a positive change. It was then that Janice and Lauren established Empowered Pets not only to make me look fashionable with my new charm around my neck but to promote holistic treatment of illness, common ailments and overall wellness for ALL pets.
Janice and Lauren are truly blessed to have me as their "test dog" for most of the Empowered Pets healing charms. I have helped them to experiment with health results, functionality of design, durability and of course, FASHION. Each charm is made with organic materials consisting of polished crystals, wooden beads, base metal wire and clasps. Each charm is handmade and, because no crystal is exactly identical, the design may vary slightly.
Empowered Pets LLC donates a minimum of $1 from the sale of
every Empowered Pet Charm to the North Shore Animal League
America, world’s largest no-kill pet rescue & adoption
organization. They have been successfully placing homeless
pets into loving homes for over sixty years.
Thanks you so much and we look forward to serving you.
